I am really loving the look of the pattern. Struggled a little with the instructions to start with as it is different to the mosaic crochet that I have done in the past, but have got the hang of it now. Happy to not have all of the ends to weave in!
The mosaic pattern is beautiful and easy to follow. I really appreciated not having to weave in a million ends! 😁 I used the moss stitch for the middle section rather than HDC. I changed the border on the long side to go vertically rather than horizontally. It imitates the border of Briana’s braided wheat stitch blanket, and I think it makes the corners neater. I also tacked down the first and last rows of each mosaic section to hold the 7 chain loops in place. This blanket is made with Lion Brand 24/7 cotton (Spruce and Ecru), so it is a nice heavy weight and can be machine washed and tumble dried on low heat. Briana K’s patterns are great. Highly recommended.
This pattern is really well written and easy to follow. It's my first time working with mosaic, so I watched the video before starting. The video was really helpful, so I feel confident that I will be successful with this project.
