Both patterns use the same two row Ripple Stitch. Every wrong side row is worked into the third loop of the half double crochet, which gives the zigzag its raised, ridged texture, and a round of clean single crochet keeps the points crisp. There's no shaping and no seaming anywhere. My sister Kirsten designed, crocheted, and filmed both of these herself.

- Blanket: Herrschners Worsted 8, #4 worsted weight, 100% acrylic. From 210 yds (Lovey) to 15,410 yds (King) total across four colors. Colors shown: Aran, Dark Grey, Pecan, and Sleet
- Washcloth: Village Yarn Craft Cotton, 100% cotton, 53 (96) yds. Colors shown: Sage, Cream, Honey, and Pomegranate
- I (5.5mm) hook, scissors, yarn needle, removable stitch marker, and measuring tape
- Optional: blocking mats and pins
