I bought this pattern to make the afghan for some friends. These friends own a local pub called The B, and use a honey bee as their "mascot". I'm doing it in black and white (their colors), and I'm so excited for how it will turn out! I will try to post pictures of the finished project.

This pattern is well written. The hexagons are quite easy. This is my first time doing tapestry crochet, and it was definitely a learning curve, but I trusted the process, and my first bee hexagon turned out well.
