- Skill level: Advanced Beginner
- Sizes: Small (Medium, Large)
- Finished size: 2.5" wide by 3.75" tall (3.75" by 6", 4.5" by 7"), base to tip with stem
- Yarn: worsted weight (4), shown in Herrschners Worsted 8, two colors per acorn
- Yardage: 18 (30, 42) yds
- Hook: G (4.0 mm), or the size that gives you a firm, tight fabric
- Construction: one piece from the stem tip down, worked in a spiral after the cap, stuffed as you go
- Notions: scissors, yarn needle, removable stitch marker, fiberfill stuffing, poly pellets or dried beans for a weighted bottom (optional)

- Do I have to sew anything? Nope. The stem, cap and nut are all worked in one piece, so there is nothing to sew or assemble.
- Can I make them bigger or smaller? The stitch counts are the same across sizes, so switching yarn weight resizes them for you.
- Will they stay put in a bowl? There is a weighted bottom option so a pile of acorns stays where you set it.
