- Yarn: worsted weight cotton, shown in Village Yarn Craft Cotton
- Yardage: about 55 yds
- Hook: H (5 mm), or the size you need for gauge
- Gauge: 16 sts and 14 rows = 4 in in stitch pattern, not blocked
- Construction: Worked flat in rows, then edged with the wooden rings attached as you go, no sewing
- Notions: removable stitch markers, yarn needle, scissors, tape measure, wooden rings
