Blossom Granny Square Blanket Crochet Pattern

Little flower squares, and not one seam to sew at the end.

Each square is worked in the round from a magic ring. Contrast color chains arc up and over the double crochets to form the petals, so the flower sits on top of the fabric instead of disappearing into it.

The squares join with slip stitch seams through the back loops as you work, which means the blanket grows finished. No pile of squares waiting to be assembled. A clean single crochet border with half double crochet rounds finishes the edges.
